Well, you'll know now that most modern oscilloscope users feel when they really try to use the long recording length of a digital oscilloscope. Record length is one of the key indicators of oscilloscope, which refers to the number of sample points that can be digitized and stored in a single acquisition. The longer the record length, the higher resolution (high resolution)
The longer the capture time window is. The first digital oscilloscope in the world can only capture and store 500 sample points. It is difficult to collect all relevant information about the events under investigation. Over the years, the oscilloscope manufacturer has to provide more and more long record length, meet the needs of long capture window by high resolution, high resolution or has become the current standard configuration of most midrange oscilloscope, the user can choose either to upgrade to a few megabytes sample record length.
