Optical Line Tracker

The Optical Line Tracker HG 73840ZA described in this data sheet is one component of an optical guidance system for Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) which guides along a line of optical contrast (dark/light). The Optical Line Tracker evaluates the position of the optical contrast line within the pic- ture supplied by the camera and outputs its position relative to the center of the picture. It is also possible to use the Optical Line Tracker in applications with branchings off the main course.

DGPS System with Dual Frequency Receiver

With the, in general use, Global Positioning System (GPS) it is possible to determine a geographical position. The commonly used stndard GPS provides an accuracy of approx. 10 m. With the aid of additional equipment and under certain area conditions it is possible to achieve a geographic position with an accuracy of up zo +/- 3 cm.

Interpreter for Inductive Track Guidance

The described interpreter allows the connection of two guidance antennas. The interpreter includes two identical channels with an independent filter frequency setting. Data outptut is carried out over a CAN-bus. A CANopen protocol is implemented (Device profile DS 401).
