The materials are evenly placed on the (plate or net type) belt and in horizontal movement in the drier due to the dragging of transmission gear. When the hot air passes through the net belt (or net plate), it engages in heat and mass transfer with the materials on the belt, achieving the purpose of drying. The dyer can be designed into an integral hot ventilation form or a form consisting of several independent hot air circulating units depending on the process and user demands. The tail gas is discharged through a dedicated moisture removal fan. In operation, the hot air passes through the materials laid on the plate or net type belt from bottom to top or from top to bottom for drying and taking away the moisture. The net belt moves slowly. The speed can be adjusted according to the temperature of materials. The dried finished products will fall into the receiver. The up and down circulating units can be configured flexibly according to user demands and the quantity of unit can be determined as required.
It is mainly applicable to the drying of small materials, fibrous materials and flake-like, strip-shaped and granular materials with good air permeability, and particularly suitable for the materials with a high content of moisture which cannot withstａnd high temperature baking and are required to maintain their dimensions, etc. including dehydrated vegetables, catalysts, Traditional Chinese Medicine decoction pieces, etc.
According to the characteristics of materials and technological requirements, the specific belt-type drying structure and form can be single layer belt type, multiple-layer belt type, laminar-flow belt type, cross-flow belt type, and spraying belt type.
1. The vibration and shock against materials in belt type drying are small and have little destructive effects on the material forming. It is applicable to drying of the materials which should not be crushed.
2. The optimal drying process and effects can be obtained through adjusting the hot air amount, heating temperature, stay time of materials and feed speed.
3. The equipment can be configured flexibly. Automatic flushing system, material cooling system and inligent control operation system can be used.
4. Single layer belt type, multiple-layer belt type, laminar-flow belt type, cross-flow belt type, and spraying belt type can be selected according to process and site requirements to satisfy requirements.
