Luftmesstechnik und seine besonderen Vorteile:
Die Luftmesstechnik basiert auf dem Prinzip der Staudruckmessung. Wo immer ein Staudruck aufgebaut werden kann, ist dieses Messprinzip anwendbar. Die besonderen Vorteile des PEL Systems sind:
Unabhängig vom Material:
Grundsätzlich können alle Materialien abgetastet werden die einen Staudruck zulassen. Das PEL-System arbeitet unabhängig von Farbe, Durchsichtigkeit, Oberflächenbeschaffenheit, auf Metall, Kunststoffe, Gummi, Papier, Folien, Kork und Stoff. Das PEL-System ist ein berührungsloses Messsystem. Ein Luftstrahl wirkt mit geringer Kraft auf das Objekt das einen Staudruck erzeugt. ( -6 bis 10g ) Dieser Staudruck wird dann von den PEL Sensoren in ein analoges oder digitales Signal umgesetzt.

MENZEL microscope slides are available in standard sizes: 1.0 mm thick in dimensions of 26 x 76 mm (ISO Norm 8037/I) Microscope slides with special thicknesses, dimensions and tolerances are also available.
MENZEL microscope slides are manufactured from extra white glass.

MENZEL's single or twin frosted slides have consistent and porous surfaces making labelling effortless. The standard slide in this product line has a double frosted area of approx. 20 mm.

| Ground Edges 90° and 45°![]() The incorporation of ground edges in MENZEL Microscope slides reduces the danger of cuts and infections to laboratory personnel.
Slides with 90º edges are manufactured using a wet grinding process which results in a high quality fine ground edge. These slides are available with or without clipped corners. The standard slides are without clipped corners.

| Slides with 45º ground edges are with roof ground edges and clipped corners. Microscope Slides with clipped corners are well suited for automated equipment, since they reduce breakage in cassettes or transportation bands.

Bevelled edges Another product line in the MENZEL range of microscope slides are MENZEL slides with bevelled edges. The product includes both, a bevelled edge and a 45° ground edge. As with all our microscope slides a smooth and even smear is assured. The standard slides have clipped corners.
