USB-IF总裁Jeff Ravencraft表示：“作为USB技术的一个*推进者，恩智浦已经可以满足市场对尺寸小、功耗低、性能高的解决方案的需要，如他们的，获过认证的无线USB设备，ISP3582。很高兴看到这一解决方案的面向终端制造商的推出，它无疑是超小型外设的理想选择”。
随着便携式消费产品尺寸不断缩小而功能却日益增加的趋势，模块制造商对可靠耐用的超小型部件的需求不断增长。恩智浦ISP3582芯片小巧（7mm x 7mm）且符合USB-IF要求的特性，满足了这一市场需求。
除了获得USB-IF的认可，恩智浦正与模块制造商Murata合作，推出尺寸小于1.5 cm2的模块。配备ISP3582的这一模块易于应用在手机、数码相机、MP
3及个人媒体播放器等便携设备中。Murata模块为 “低温共烧陶瓷” （LTCC）模块，是易于置于系统中的完整无线USB外设解决方案，使RF设计更为简便，缩短产品上市时间。
“USB-IF认证表明恩智浦无线USB本机IC200TBX210设备控制器日趋成熟，” Murata制造公司（Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd）模块事业部表示，“ISP3582是恩智浦为其客户和合作伙伴提供的又一款放心产品，也非常适合Murata公司的世界zui小尺寸无线USB模块。这一模块合乎监管要求，可随时投入生产，从而为客户节省了大量的时间和费用。”
恩智浦半导体USB/UWB产品线高级总监及总Antonio Alvarez-Tinoco博士表示：“随着数字化内容的不断普及和消费者移动性的不断增强，无线USB成为消费电子设备间zui快捷、有效的数据传输方式。恩智浦获得认证的无线USB芯片可以实现数据内容的安全共享。例如，通过无线USB主机控制器，配备ISP3582模块的手机能够在数秒内将20张照片传输到另一部手机、打印机或个人电脑上。有了这一新产品和强大的合作伙伴，恩智浦对于将地位从USB延伸到UWB（超宽带）领域信心十足。”
与采用dongle适配器的连接方式相比，恩智浦ISP3582本机无线USB设备控制器减少线路数目，优化芯片尺寸，从而达到提高性能、降低功耗和成本的目的。ISP3582已通过无线通用串行总线规范1.0（Wireless USB Specification 1.0）认证测试，与Realtek公司经认证的，符合“WiMedia PHY规范的外置PHY组合，能够实现支持480 Mbit/s的数据传输速度，使消费者尽享高速、近距的无线数据传输。
